4-SLICE TOASTER

PRO LINE SERIES

The 4-Slice Model Toaster (KPTT890) is similar to the 2-Slice Model Toaster (KPTT780). This impressive unit uses a single 4-Slice Toaster Core. This model does not require removal of the On/Off Switch or Shade Control Knobs for access, as they are cleverly integrated into the Stainless Steel Wrapper.

Servicing this unit is similar to the 2-Slice Model except a larger work space will be required, due to the units larger footprint. As before, it is advised that a padded or carpeted workplace be used, so as not to damage the stainless steel and die-cast components.

When servicing the KPTT890 4-Slice Model, be sure to remove both Crumb Trays. Like the KPTT780, you should also remove both Lift Levers to permit access.

Like the KPTT780, the Brackets or Bridges on the KPTT890 are not the same, as shown above. The thicker 1/2" Bracket goes to the Front of the Toaster the thinner 1/4" Bracket goes to the Rear.

Securing the Stainless Steel Wrapper on the 4-Slice Model consists of lining up the (8) tabs that penetrate the Toaster Core. After these Tabs are alligned correctly, secure the Stainless Steel Wrapper with the (2) Middle Screws as shown above. This approach will insure the careful allignment of the pair of Switches and Shade Controls, without losing the wrapper.
